Cliff Manor Bed and Breakfast

Over the last year Cliff Manor B&B has replaced all of their windows (44 of them!) with energy efficient, double hung, low e, argon gas and removed all storm windows and replaced all exterior doors (11 total) with more energy efficient steel entry doors. Surprisingly, these changes have not taken away from the character of the building but have, in fact enhanced it. Cliff Manor has also rebuilt both of their porches overlooking the Missouri River and installed picture windows for a more dynamic view of the river and state capital.  It’s not every day you come across a home that is 144 years young and are able to open a window that has not been painted shut over the years!
