“A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas”
December 2-4, 9-11, 16-18
The Stained Glass Theater of Mid-Missouri (830 E High Street), Jefferson City Christian theater group, presents “A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas” in December. It is their poorest winter ever, the crops have been devastated by locusts and the family must make a difficult decision that could change the family dynamics. This original play presents the poignant story of the “missing” two years in the life of the Ingalls family – the only substantial period that Laura chose not to write about in her Little House books. Told with period songs, humor and depth of character, A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas tells a story of healing that celebrates the importance of enduring family bonds. Sponsored by the First Church of God. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. For reservations: sgtmidmo@earthlink.net or call (573) 634-5313. Visit us at www.sgtmidmo.org.
