- Binder Park – (650 Acres)
- Binder Park adjoins Joseph C. Miller Park. The main feature of the park is a 150-acre lake which offers excellent fishing for bass, catfish, bluegill and other species.
- Binder Park is also home to Jefferson City’s only disc golf course. The 18 hole course runs through the woods with some open fairways. The area is set aside with red Mach IV baskets, slight elevation changes and beautiful scenery. Call (573) 636-2220 or click here to see a map of the course.
- Binder Park also has a mountain bike trail on its terrain. As the Binder Lake trail system winds across the landscape, it provides something for all users. Beginning at the main trail head you will find a green loop that has been designated for beginner mountain bikers. With each loop that a mountain biker continues away from the main trail head, the trails provide more significant challenges. This type of trail is called a stacked loop system and provides trails for all abilities. The main trail head kiosk provides mountain bikers and hikers with a detailed map showing the locations and colors of various loops. Corresponding colored trail markers identify which trail you are currently on. Throughout the years, the Osage Region Trail Association has dedicated thousands of hours to the construction and maintenance of these trails. During moist conditions it is recommended that you not ride or hike on the trails and choose a more solid surface to ride or hike such as the Greenway Trail. This will ensure the longevity of this trail system for years to come and is greatly appreciated by the Osage Region Trail Association members.
